Based on the globally acclaimed Italian series, Doc — Nelle tue mani — FOX’s Doc, follows the story of Dr. Amy Larsen (Emmy Award-nominee Molly Parker, House of Cards), the hard-charging, brilliant Chief of Internal and Family Medicine at Westside Hospital in Minneapolis. After a brain injury erases the past eight years of her life, Amy must navigate an unfamiliar world where she has no recollection of patients she’s treated, colleagues she’s crossed, the soulmate she divorced, the man she now loves, and the tragedy that caused her to push everyone away. She can rely only on her estranged 17-year-old daughter, whom she remembers as a 9-year-old, and a handful of devoted friends, as she struggles to continue practicing medicine, despite having lost nearly a decade of knowledge and experience. The series begs the question, what would you do differently if you had a second chance?
Doc also stars Omar Metwally (The Affair), Amirah Vann (How To Get Away With Murder), Jon Ecker (Firefly Lane), Anya Banerjee (The Blacklist) and recurring guest stars Scott Wolf (Party of Five) and Patrick Walker (Lessons In Chemistry). Doc is co-produced by Sony Pictures Television and FOX Entertainment Studios. Barbie Kligman serves as showrunner and executive producer. Hank Steinberg, Judi McCreary and Erwin Stoff are executive producers. Doc is based on the globally acclaimed Italian series, Doc — Nelle tue mani, which was created and is produced by Lux Vide, a Fremantle Company.

What to expect:
We’ll start with an icebreaker that relates to the episode, then we’ll have a group discussion led by an ATX TV Staff Member followed by any questions or discussion points you thought of that we may have missed. Finally, we’ll end with anyone who wants to share what they are currently watching and loving.
Since this is one of our community events, we’d love for you to attend with your camera turned on, but no one will be forced to contribute unless you want. This will be a free flowing conversation, but we will also utilize Zoom’s hand raising and chat functions as needed to make sure everyone who wants to speak has a chance!
