Rewind The Golden Girls (1985–1992)! Rewatch (or watch for the first time) with us — it’s TV Watch Club, Rewind-style!
ATX TV Members will kick things off with an icebreaker that relates to the Series. Then an ATX TV Staff Member will lead a group discussion about select episodes of The Golden Girls, followed by any questions or points you thought of that we may have missed. Finally, we’ll end with anyone who wants to share what they are currently watching and loving.
We’ll be chatting about all things Golden but wanted to give you a few episodes to get you started, but feel free to watch as much as you want!
About The Golden Girls:
The Golden Girls tells the story of four older women who share a house in Miami Beach, Florida. Bea Arthur plays Dorothy, a divorced school teacher, with a sardonic wit. Rue McClanahan plays Blanche, a man-hunting Southern Belle. Betty White plays Rose, a very sweet woman who is somewhat spacey. Rounding out the trio is Estelle Getty, playing Dorothy’s outspoken mother, Sophia.
